Nova Neri | Founder & Community Health Advocate
Nova Neri is a dedicated community health advocate, clinical health researcher in TBI and Maternal Mental Health, and founder of Neri Heartland and Palms Center Rural Health. With more than 20 years of service to urban and rural communities in Hawaii and Iowa, reaching communities around the world. She brings a deep understanding of community resilience, systems rebuilding, and the long-term work of recovery. Former marketing staff at Hawai’i’s top recovery house.
She has worked independently with military and civilian families navigating life’s most challenging transitions, including personal setbacks, trauma work, and disaster recovery in homelessness. Her work centers on helping individuals and families rebuild stability, restore a sense of purpose, and move toward a healthier future.
Grant writing, strategic communications, and mission focused development.
Through her work, she is committed to strengthening individuals, supporting families, and helping communities build a brighter tomorrow. She has worked with small scale farmers, MBA’s, and small businesses launch and scale.
In 2025, we were able to help disadvantage women gain access to $15,250 in DOVR grants and write business plans upon release from incarceration. And offering men a second chance offering coaching to work in the tech industry, CompTIA, Network Plus, A+.

At the outset, I engage clients in a comprehensive discussion to understand their vision, objectives, and preferences. This phase lays the foundation for a tailored design, where we delve into the functional requirements and aspirations of the project.
Concept Framework
Outlining a new community health initiative or business concept. Web development, PR, Media Host, & Archivist.
Creative Direction
Client and donor input is paramount. I actively seek feedback on design proposals, facilitating an iterative process that hones in on the perfect balance between client vision and design expertise. This collaborative approach ensures the final design surpasses expectations. Establishing the visual identity, tone, and feel of a project.
Program Blueprint
With a finalized design in hand,
Mapping out a community health program or service. Defining community needs, outcomes, and intended impact. Presenting a polished overview to clients, partners, or funders
