At Neri Heartland, we believe education is a foundation for personal growth, independence, and stronger communities. Our Educational Development & Opportunity and Rural Health Initiative is dedicated to helping individuals access learning resources, develop practical life skills, discover their potential, and pursue meaningful opportunities for the future. While incarcerated, Nova was able to help 60% of the women create business plans, out of those that participated, 95% of the women were victims of domestic violence and experienced trauma. 100% were living in poverty and homeless…needing help with a complete fresh start upon release. We couldn’t do this without our sponsors and donors of our cause. Partnering with organizations and institutions to help get minorities, in the BIPOC communities in the growing fields of healthcare, tech, and construction. Economic revival is needed for the next generation of the families we support.

We aim to create pathways to learning that encourage confidence, self-sufficiency, and continued personal development—regardless of an individual’s circumstances or starting point. Despite their own circumstances, many of these women want and desire to give back and give life a second chance. With structured help: we can make more projects possible.
